She is a fixed-wing pilot and mountain biker who just loves being outside and most of all snowboarding.

Q & A

Talk about your most epic splitboard adventure:

My most epic split board experience was this past July to Olympic National Park. My buddy Stratton and I hiked 20 miles through old growth rainforest with our backpacking gear and split boards to the base of the Blue Glacier, under Mt Olympus. We rode several lines on the Hoh and Blue Glaciers, including an epic sunset couloir and a beautiful crevassed line off of the snow summit of Mt Olympus. The summer slush was incredible, the days were long and the wildflowers were plentiful. We found a ridge top bivvy site and were provided with an abundance of clear water everywhere we traveled. We scored epic turns in a magical place in an unassuming time of the year!

What has most influenced your backcountry riding?

I grew up in the rural north woods of Michigan so I feel at home in the backcountry walking around in the trees and mountains. I love being outside and being totally immersed in my surroundings so I am continually influenced by new terrain and ever-changing conditions. I am obsessed with creating lines that flow down the mountainsides and add to the aesthetic of the natural landscapes.

What are you most excited about for the 25/26 season?

This winter I am looking forward to spending more time in the alpine of Roger's Pass BC!

What inspires you?

My family, all of my snowboarding friends in all different aspects of riding inspire me, as well as, big mountain skiers and mountaineers!
