Carved into the steep canyon walls and high mountain plateaus of the MT/WY boarder is the Beartooth Highway. A rugged section of U.S. Route 212 between Red Lodge, Montana and Cooke City, Montana with exceptional road side shred access for both car laps and splitboarding . A series of steep switchbacks climbs over 3,000 vertical feet in just 12 miles peaking out at 10,947′. This is the setting for our 2nd annual Beartooth Sessions.
Join the Spark R&D and Venture Snowboards crew for a long weekend of camping, riding, and adventure this Memorial Day Weekend. Demo boards and bindings will be available. We’ll be posted up at the entrance to Rock Creek Campground (or in one of the first campsites when you enter the campground) on Friday and Saturday night to demo boards and bindings.
This is a self guided event. Bring your own camping gear, shredding gear/necessities and be prepared for the elements. Drive up and drop in for some spring snowboarding at it’s best. See you in the Beartooths!
