Where can I buy Spark R&D products?
We sell bindings directly through our online store.

Shipping?
We can ship via USPS and UPS both domestically and internationally.
Note: International rates vary and may be subject to additional import duties and taxes (this is out of our control!).
What type of payments do you accept?
You can pay with Visa, American Express, Mastercard, paypal, or by check (but it needs to clear before we will ship you your stuff).
Do you have spare parts available?
Spare pins are available in our store, as well as a random assortment of other parts. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in the store, send an email to info@sparkrandd.com and we’ll get you squared away.
Is baseplate padding standard?
Baseplate padding is not included, but can be ordered through our store.
My pins don’t fit in ride mode?
If you ride with positive angle on your rear foot you may have to run your pins on the outside of your binding. The pins are directional so you will have to switch both of them. This will not affect the performance of your bindings. For additional ideas please see our setup guide.
My Spark pins don’t fit through the touring brackets, but my Voile ones do, what gives?
Our pins fit through 99.5% of the voile touring brackets out there. If your pins don’t easily fit through the touring brackets do not force them. A 1/4 inch drill bit (by hand), a round file, or rolled up sandpaper can be used to slightly increase the size of the hole so our pins slide easily. Are these bindings compatible with my Voile interface parts?
All Spark R&D binders are compatible with the voile interface kit. They slide right on to the adjustable or split your own pucks:

The binders don’t slide on my new pucks easily?
If you are having a hard time installing your bindings on the board check to make sure that your rubber gaskets are installed underneath your pucks. If not, install your gaskets right now!
Are the voile crampons compatible with Spark R&D Bindings?
The voile crampons use a different pin system and attach on the outside of the touring bracket and are therefore NOT compatible with any Spark R&D bindings. We sell our own Mr. Chomps crampons which are compatible with our bindings. Check them out here.
Will Mr. Chomps crampons fit on my split?
Our crampons are available in two widths, standard and wide. The standard crampons have an inside width of 138 mm as shown in the drawing below, which will fit boards a bit over 26 cm at the waist. Factory splits that are too wide are the ‘08-’09 Prior Khyber 170, Spearhead 178, and the Venture Divide Wide (28 cm waist). These boards and others over 26 cm at the waist should use the wide crampons, which have an inside width of 148 mm. The ‘07-’08 Khyber 165 and 170, Spearhead and Splitswallow have offset touring brackets (the bracket is closer to the curved edge than the straight one). If you order crampons for these boards let us know, we’ll send you offset crampon parts. 2008 and later models of Prior boards are not offset.
Which Voile split interface parts do I need to buy?
If you’ve bought a factory split from Voile or Prior you’ll have all the parts you need. If you’ve bought a Burton or Venture you’ll need to buy skins along with the following list of parts:

What is your warranty policy?
Spark R&D warrants its products to be free of manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase as validated by a copy of your original sales receipt. Problems resulting from impact, abuse, misuse, neglect, modifications made outside of our factory and normal wear and tear are not covered.
If your product has a valid warranty issue we will repair or replace the product free of charge. In the event that an exact replacement (Model, size, and/or color) is no longer available we will replace your product with one of comparable performance, size and value. Contact us directly if you have a warranty issue.
