Bolton Valley Split and Surfest

Come join us in the Bolton Valley backcountry to explore the area on splitboards and all mountain boards. Free demos will be provided by, OGE, Ski Rack and Alpine Shop if you don’t have your own or want to try something new. They will be offering demos from; Rome, Voile, Mtn Approach, Venture, Grassroots Powdersurfing and more.

Lost Nation Brewery is sponsoring this event and will be offering $2 beers, while supplies last. 100% of the proceeds from the beer sale will be donated to Catamount Trail Association/Vermont Backcountry Alliance. There will also be a grill that will be providing burgers, hot dogs, and a vegetarian option. After the event there will be a special cask beer from Lost Nation being served in the James Moore Tavern.

Activities: There is going to be a splitboard 101 class given by the Catamount Trail Association. This class will give tips setting up your board, going up-hill, and how to get the most out of you adventure. A splitboard obstacle course will also be set up on Broadway to have a little fun with your friends.

Fee: There is no fee to demo or be part of this event. You will however need to purcahse a Nordic ticket to access the backcountry if you don’t already have a season pass.

Location: Intersection of Pond Loop, Broadway, and World Cup. Near our maintenance building. Signs will be up the day of the event to guide you there from the base area and Nordic Center.

Time: 9:00am to 6:00pm
