The end of may already, wow I guess I’d better write something
Posted on May 29, 2008
Hello out there on the internets,
Wow, it’s the end of May already, boy how the time flies. Things are going well here in the Spark factory. Matt Schultze (known on sb.com as bridgerhippy) started work mid month and is tearing it up. Matt brings years of splitboarding and production experience to the shop, along with a great attitude. Welcome to the team Matt!
Our good friend Pip Bell moved to Gloucester MA this month. Pip probably put your bindings together, and did a great job of getting us off the ground. We’ll miss you bud. Something tells me we might see you again once the snow starts flying.
We’re just about through the waiting list (yes!), and from there on out we will do our first summer production run. Things were a bit too crazy this last winter trying to do production while the snow was falling, and I want to have binders ready to ride when the snow starts flying. We will continue to sell direct at least through the summer, so if you want a set and don’t want to wait, just drop us an email.
I’d also like to say congrats to my friend Damian in Japan. Damian and others did a trip this March to Greenland. Check out the trip report at http://steepdeepjapan.com/tripreports/TR-greenland-page1.
More later, back to the shop!
